The warm hospitality of the owner and the delicious made-to-order breakfast were definite highlights of my stay. I felt welcomed and appreciated the attention to cleanliness and comfort.

The room (#203) faced an exterior stairwell, feeling claustrophobic. Reservations were mixed up, adding unnecessary stress, and the breakfast scheduling was inconvenient for travelers on the go.

Loved the comfy linens, but the lack of a microwave was annoying.

great spot for city strolls and nearby parks

my stay was fantastic, especially with how close I was to downtown coeurs d'alene, just under 2 km away. The beautiful tubbs hill trail marker is only a short walk to get to. the friendly staff made check-in easy and shared great coffee options in the room for waking up before a day of exploration.

Nice place with great wi-fi, tv, and comfortable beds. I still remember how the staff helped me return my forgotten earpods during my first visit. I’ll definitely be back for a city break!

My stay at japan house suites was amazing. the owner went out of their way to welcome me, especially after my late arrival. the breakfast made to order and comfy beds exceeded my expectations during my visit to coeur d'alene. absolutely loved the quality coffee in the room too!

roku navigation was a bit tricky.

Quaint motel close to I-90, making it easy to access nearby dining and shopping. The linens were exceptional, and the towels were particularly soft. While the breakfast options were minimal, they were adequate for a quick start to the day. The absence of a microwave was disappointing, and a bedside clock would have been helpful. The area was quiet, making it a good spot for some rest.
